According to Trader Vic:
Covers were lithographed (printed on an offset press). Maintaining the red-blue-purple blend as on the first pressing was difficult but somewhat successful. I have a printing background and once owned a small print shop so I took on this task personally. Once again, no two covers are exactly alike. The credits, which were originally printed on a white paper insert, were blown up and printed on the inside of the cover of the second pressing.
