NBA Live 07 introduceert de Freestyle Control die het mogelijk maakt om complete controle over de spelers te krijgen. Met de analoge sticks kun je op die manier een aantal beslissende moves uitvoeren of kun je de snelheid in het spel opvoeren. Met de Freestyle Control kun je honderden moves uitvoeren.Nieuw is de toevoeging van verschillende niveaus van Freestyle Moves. Wil je een ingewikkelde dunk uitvoeren, dan zal dat moeilijker zijn dan een meer simpele dunk en vereist het meer concentratie en uithoudingsvermogen.
Fans die helemaal ‘all-out’ willen gaan in de game en alle facetten willen bekijken, kunnen wederom terecht in de Dynasty Mode. Hier is het mogelijk om een bestaand team te managen, of je eigen team. Dit kun je een aantal seizoenen lang doen. Interessant is dat dit heel diep gaat. Zo zul je nieuw talent moeten rekruteren, spelers ruilen met andere organisaties en geruchten onderzoeken en ontkrachten. Je wilt natuurlijk niet dat je team een slecht imago over zich heen krijgt.
Ook is er een zogenaamde Superstar Challenge. Hiermee kun je verschillende minigames spelen met bestaande NBA-spelers. Zo kun je je dribbelvaardigheden perfectioneren door die specifieke minigame te spelen. Ook kun je andere spelers uitdagen voor een shooting contest om te zien wie de meeste punten kan scoren. Basketballiefhebbers kunnen ook altijd inloggen in EA Media Center. Via deze functie is het mogelijk om updates te downloaden, scores met andere spelers te vergelijken en het laatste Basketbalnieuws te checken.
Voor de fans is er ook heel wat herkenning en zul je van de belangrijkste spelers uit de NBA hun typische sprongen ook in het spel terugzien. NBA Live 07 zet een authentieke ervaring neer onder andere door de aanwezigheid van alle echte teams en spelers uit de NBA competitie.
De PSP-versie van NBA Live 07 kent naast een heleboel extra minigames, ook een multiplayer modus voor tot en met acht spelers. Zo kun je alle minigames met elkaar spelen, maar ook gewoon een wedstrijd afwerken. Dat laatste is weliswaar maar met maximaal twee spelers te doen, maar is ook online te spelen. Tevens kun je te allen tijde muziek van je MemoryStick gebruiken in de game via EA Media Center.

Needs to be more concise to weed out extraneous crap in your arguments

It’s very wordy and could be a lot more concise and be even more effective. “Getting to maybe” is not an exercise in dissertations but finding the right points to create an effective argument. There are better resources out there.

This book made me angry

I was excited about this book. Many law-related blogs and forums highly recommended this book. It's a "must read" for law students, they said.
I was angry when I read the introduction. I was angrier when I began reading the chapters. What happened to brevity? Law students are already swamped with course readings. Why write a book intended to be read by law students in such a long and voluminous way? Much of the text can be removed.
"Get to the point," I found myself telling the author as I read page after page. I hated it. It is the rare law student who will pick up this book for its narrative value. The typical law student will pick this book for its value on navigating through law school exams, not for its story-telling. Yet that student will be left disappointed.
I wish the author would have considered writing a "Get to the Point" book, which would serve as a shorter version of 'Getting to Maybe.' Perhaps it is not too late. "Get to the Point" could serve as an alternative or accompanying version, maybe? I ask that the author considers this.
