Description
The Ookami Gold® Convexing Clamp is an attachment for the Ookami Gold® sharpening system that is specifically designed to sharpen and convex top-of-the-line beauty scissors. It is inspired by skilled sharpeners and aims to quicken the time required for sharpening and polishing.
With the Convexing Clamp, the professional scissors sharpener is not limited to a single angle or the need for repeated adjustments to achieve a convex or semi-convex edge. By rotating the clamp, the angle can be gradually raised to blend and feather the polished edge more quickly and easily.
The Convexing Clamp replicates factory sharpening while also providing a positive stop to prevent polishing over the cutting edge. The angle is infinitely adjustable, allowing the sharpener to uniformly convex the entire blade up to the spine as needed. The detent locks the clamp to a flexible pre-set sharpening angle for sharpening a regular bevel edge. The clamp is equipped with an ergonomic knob for comfortable and easy use.
