Marcus & Co. was highly regarded during the midcentury era for their exceptional jewelry, known for blending timeless designs with superior craftsmanship. This ring is accompanied by an original document dated April 21, 1900, from Manila, Philippine Islands, certifying its delivery to Archbishop Nozaleda by Captain S. B. Bootes of the U.S. Volunteers, under the care of Major General Otis. The document, witnessed by interpreter H. C. Tufts, specifically identifies the item as "one emerald and diamond ring," suggesting its historical significance and provenance during the American military presence in the Philippines.

It's super cute and goes well with the decor in my room. Comes with a leather bottom and easy to put together. Only problem is that's is a easy to fall apart as well. If one side is heavier then the other it will be lopsided. Holds necklaces okay... if you have heavy charms on them they will fall off.

The plastic was a little cheaper than I thought it would be, and the whole thing was a little smaller than I was picturing, you aren't able to rest necklaces on it because it's too short. Unfortunately I got it as a gift for someone else so I can't speak to its longevity but it was a bit disappointing.
