With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle—without interrupting your set temperature. Delta® showers with Monitor® pressure-balance valves are engineered to make sure you don’t experience a sudden and possibly unsafe change in water temperature as a result of running water elsewhere, such as using a dishwasher, flushing a toilet or running a washing machine. While other products may gather unsightly mineral buildup over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look — with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, then easily restarts the water with the temperature where you left off. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water — and you help the environment too. Delta WaterSense® labeled faucets, showers and toilets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard — helping you save water without compromising performance. The history is unpleasant and therefore worth knowing.
It's a wonderfully enlightening history of how European explorers visited, settled in, conquered, and exploited other continents with unparalleled cruelty in the name of power, greed, and their "loving" religion that brought them misery, exploitation and, all too often, abject slavery.

Wonderful History Lessons
I ordered this book to use for a college paper I was writing and found it fascinating. I enjoyed the content and learned much from it.
The history is written in a manner that for those people that either don't read much or don't like to read (yes, there are a few people out there), it will draw you in and make you question the history lessons we suffered through in high school.
